Lil Wayne suing Birdman for a whopping $51 million!

This week, rumors have been circulating that former Cash Money artist, Lil Wayne, will be suing the label's CEO Birdman for $8 million dollars including money he is said to be owed from a cash advance prior to recording his highly anticipated album The Carter V, as well as the remainder of money promised upon the completion of the project. Today we are told that number is inaccurate and the rapper will be suing for $51 M's! Such a sad ending to a legendary relationship between the two that has flourished since Birdman signed Wayne at the tender age of 15 years old. Birdman is allegedly holding Wayne's album from being released and Wayne says he wants out, and when he leaves, he's taking Drake and Nicki with him.

On the bright side, Lil Wayne's Sorry For the Wait 2 dropped last week, and is on livemixtapes now to hold you over until the beef is over and The Carter V is released

Chicago connection: During the Drake v. Wayne tour stop in Chicago, fans voted Drake to reign supreme over Young Money's president, of course Wayne is taking him with!

Rapper Gzus Piece Arrested for Trafficking Heroin

Source COMPLEX
Chicago-based rapper Gerik "Gzus Piece" Raglin was arrested on New Year’s Day and charged with drug possession and heroin trafficking on the Ohio Turnpike, according to an article published in the Toronto Blade earlier today.

Gzus Piece is a member of Chicago hip-hop group Treated Crew, a sprawling team that includes producer and longtime Kanye West DJ Million Dollar Mano, A$AP Rocky and ScHoolboy Q producers Nez and Rio, celebrated Chicago rapper Mic Terror, and Cool Kid Chuck Inglish, among others. Last year, Gzus Piece and rapper Blanco Caine formed White Gzus, whose 2014 Stackin' N Mackin' tape received some attention from local rap critics. The tape's single, "Top," produced by TM88 of 808 Mafia, has seen some traction locally.
Members of the Ohio Highway Patrol stopped Raglin close to midnight on Jan. 1 for speeding. According to the Ohio State Patrol website, he was driving a 2015 Buick Verano with New York registration. After they saw "criminal indicators"—no explanation of what this means was included in the Blade article—the police searched the car and discovered a bag they claimed contained 103 grams of heroin with a street value of $15,450. Raglin was sent to Wood County Jail, and bail was set at $300,000.
After appearing in Perrysburg Municipal Court today, Raglin is being "transferred back to Illinois to fight the case," said Million Dollar Mano. Mano, who spoke with the rapper earlier today, also says that Raglin will be allowed to return to his home once he's back in the state.
In addition to his work with Treated Crew and White Gzus, Gzus Piece released a solo projectThe Fuck Y'all EP in 2012, which includes production from Mano, Nez and Rio, and Thelonious Martin. Stackin' N Mackin' Vol. 2 will be out later this year.
