Migos Gets Robbed By Chief Keef’s GBE, DAMN!

SOURCE: ALLHIPHOP.COM

Migos and Chief Keef’s Glory Boyz Entertainment (GBE) posse have been at war for almost a year now and last night (Nov. 15) their beef turned bloody.
While Migos was performing at the Washington D.C. club Stadium, GBE and the Atlanta trio were involved in a brawl and it ended in what a AHH source called a “bloodbath.” In a now deleted Instagram post, Chief Keef posted a picture holding Migos member Quavo’s chain, but it’s unknown who exactly in the crew took it.
“Nobody really knows who did it,” says our source. “It was like 40 people that beat on Migos, strippers and all. It’s about to be some east coast vs. west coast s**t again.”

From what our source says, it seems that Quavo was the main one involved in the brawl. Migos did not have security with them.
The two rap crews have been beefing more via Twitter lately and things heated up last week when GBE member Capo took to Twitter to detail an altercation he had with Migos while Fredo Santana chimed in with death threats.
Migos Soft as hell Y’all Jus Had 20 niggas And I was by myself Fuck niggas! Link
The Chi-town clique and Migos have been at odds ever since Chief Keef took a line from Migos’ song “Offset” as a diss to his daughter last year.

HELP CHICAGO'S MC JUICE CLEAR HIS NAME

Donate now and help the legendary rapper avoid ten years in prison for a crime he did not commit

For such a long time my music and persona have been the stuff of urban folklore...

But through social media and word of mouth, you have circulated and spread the word about me and I have become internationally recognized as a symbol of real Hip Hop.
For this I say thank you.
As an Independent artist, I control the content and distribution of my music. I am now able to link directly with my listeners at the click of a button.
My goal has always been two fold: To take you with me on my mission of self-discovery and to always do it skillfully. So far, it has been one hell of a ride but trust me, its just the beginning.

#Legendary

Many people know of me from winning hundreds of rap contests, including my historic battles with Eminem and Supernatural. Still others point to my freestyles and improvisation as one of their favorite things about me. Despite how I got known, I consider myself a writer first and foremost.
My new music is all about showcasing the power of the pen. It also takes another step forward sonically and challenges normal perception. Tragedies and triumphs over the last few years have helped to create perhaps my most personal project to date.

The Obstacles

For a period of time, I've been sorting through personal and legal situations which have managed to keep me out of the public eye. Between my car accident and my dad passing away, I wasn't sure if I would ever be inspired enough to make music again.
I truly thank all my corporate partners for helping me keep food on the table during that tough time.

California Dreaming

I was asked to fly to L.A. to do an interview about Eminem. But as the old man became terminal, I refused to leave his side. Instead, I had the crew come to my dad's house house near Ferguson, Missouri to film me for an episode of 'Popped'. Before he died, my dad told me to move back to CA. Surprisingly he even left a modest inheritance. I began saving it in a shoe box for my relocation to California.
After a long fight with our insurance company, we also received a small settlement from the car accident. It felt as if tragedy was finally turning to triumph. We added the settlement money to the relocation fund my dad left us.
My lady and I found a cool crib to rent in Northern California but we had some difficulty with credit. Our bank has no locations on the west coast and the rental agent would not accept an out-of-state check. We decided go back to Chicago to grab all of the cash we had been saving. The plan was to bring back enough money to just rent the place for the whole year.

[Community Alert] Helicopters Deployed Over Rogers Park Streets as Police Boost Patrols

ROGERS PARK — In response to "heightened tension" in the area, Chicago Police are patrolling Rogers Park and other nearby neighborhoods with a police helicopter, Ald. Joe Moore says.
"The Police Department is including Rogers Park and other North Side neighborhoods as part of its routine patrols, much like a squad car, except it is up in the air and can cover more territory more quickly," Moore wrote in an email newsletter to constituents Wednesday.
He said the helicopter was complementing additional police resources on the ground in an effort to fight crime in the area. There have been several high-profile murders in the neighborhood this year, including that of photographer William Lewis, who was hit by a stray bullet on Devon Avenue in July, and of Markeyo Carr, who was gunned down at a McDonald's in February.Police have assigned the Organized Crime Unit, which Moore says has made eight arrests in the past week, and there are additional mass transit officers at the Howard and Morse CTA Red Line stations.
The effort is "part of an overall strategy to boost police presence and tamp down on the violence. Police in a helicopter can see things that officers on the ground may not be able to see. Plus it sends a message to those contemplating violence."
The helicopter is patrolling the Rogers Park District, which includes Rogers Park, West Rogers Park/West Ridge and a small part of north Edgewater, as well as the lakefront, Moore said.
Police spokesman Martin Maloney would not comment on the air patrols, but said helicopters "are primarily used for visual surveillance" and "deployed based on operational needs of the day or specific situations, and have been since 2006."
Moore said the helicopters would not remain in the neighborhood long-term.
"The Police Department does not intend for the helicopter to become a permanent fixture in our neighborhood, but during this time of heightened tension, they believe it could be a useful tool," he wrote.
But residents have noticed the more frequent visits of the helicopters.

Rapper Common's Father, Lonnie Lynn, Dies at 71

Lonnie Lynn, known to hip-hop fans for his soulful spoken-word poems on rapper son Common's albums, has died.
Lynn died at age 71 on Friday, Common said in an interview Monday in Los Angeles. He gave no further details.
Lynn was a star high school basketball player in Chicago and played in the 1969-1970 season in the American Basketball Association. He struggled with drug addiction and with being a father to six children, topics he addressed in poignant, sometimes regretful poems that concluded many of Common's albums.
"He was truly a natural poet and master of words. His personality and soul shined through his work," Common, whose real name is Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr., said in the interview Monday.
"The way he said things made me look at life and the world in a new way, in a different way. They always sparked a thought in my head. His words would always make me strive to achieve higher, to write better, to be more truthful with my words."
Common is also an actor, appearing in films including "Terminator: Salvation" and "LUV" and as a regular on the AMC series "Hell on Wheels."
Lynn, known as "Pops" on Common's albums, recorded his last poem for the rapper's 2011 release, "The Dreamer/The Believer." abc

Was Micheal Brown's murder by Ferguson MO Police Officer result of White Supremacy? Here's the stats!!!!

The people of Ferguson MO has taken to the streets in protest against the shooting and killing of a unarmed African American male named Micheal Brown. Brown and a friend was walking to Brown's grandmother's house when an encounter with a unnamed Ferguson police officer ended in Brown's murder.  Amidst the brief rioting, protesting and reporting the Ferguson police with the help of several neighboring police agencies have taken to the streets in full riot gear including tanks and heavy ammunition.

Tension between the predominantly African American residence and predominantly white police force is apparently not a new issue. Here are race and crime statistics that outline Ferguson MO and may shed light on why the community is so outraged and why the police are so outrageous.

RACE:

  • Black alone - 13,753 (64.9%)
  • White alone - 6,494 (30.6%)
  • Two or more races - 437 (2.1%)
  • Asian alone - 263 (1.2%)
  • Hispanic - 156 (0.7%)
  • American Indian alone - 34 (0.2%)
  • Other race alone - 45 (0.2%)
  • Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander alone - 23 (0.1%)

[Comunity Alert] Chicago Sun-Times report: FBI to hit Chicago streets to combat gangs

Originally Posted by Chicago Sun-times | 8-13-2014 | Micheal Sneed
Sneed has learned that the feds plan to dispatch 65 FBI agents to the streets in high-crime areas on the South and West Sides in an all-out battle against gang crime.
The 65 feds are part of a group of 100 Chicago agents already assigned to curb gang and violent crimes.
“This is a new tactic the FBI is using in fighting crime,” an FBI spokeswoman said, “by working in a concentrated area and a concentrated time on the street — although the FBI has been working hand in hand and day in and day out with the police department."
A top police source tells Sneed the FBI agents, who will be working in tandem with the Chicago Police Department, will be assigned to do gang suppression missions on Thursdays and Fridays for at least the next three to four weeks.
“It’s mind-boggling,” the top police source said. “It’s almost unheard of.”
“I thought the mayor and the police superintendent had said they don’t need more police on the streets,” the source added.

Sneed is told the FBI plans to develop intelligence and conduct surveillance on street-corner drug dealers, which will “lead to somebody else talking, possibly lead to an arrest and to the seizure of guns,” a second police source said. “We have to go to where the problems are and that means working the streets.”
Sneed also is told that new FBI Director James Comey and Robert Holley, the special agent in charge of the Chicago division, are eager to build relationships with local police.
This disclosure follows in the wake of an announcement that 40 Illinois State Police troopers will partner with Chicago Police officers in a fugitive apprehension task force.
“They will be going after the worst of the worst, looking for people wanted on murder warrants. The fugitives may be wanted on the South Side, but who knows where in the city they’re hiding,” the top police source said.
The state troopers will be organized into “surge teams” made up of five CPD officers and two state troopers and tasked with catching those with “known violent criminal histories who are wanted by law enforcement,” the governor’s office said last week.
In July, seven additional ATF agents were assigned to Chicago to help reduce gun violence.
